The Company Behind The Steel

Joybest Trade Limited is a California-based wholesale distributor built on one conviction: hardware should hold up past the warranty sticker.

Our Story

Built In A Warehouse, Not A Boardroom

Joybest Trade Limited began with a simple frustration shared by every crew we talked to: imported hardware that looked right in the catalog and gave out on the job. We built the company the opposite way — start with the part that has to work, then sell it.

From a single leased bay in Diamond Bar, we grew into a full-line distributor carrying four complete product families: hand tools, power tools, building accessories and security hardware. Every line is stocked in our own U.S. warehouse, inspected on arrival, and documented for customs, banks and buyers who need to know exactly what they're getting.

We're a trade partner first and a supplier second. Contractors, lumberyards, e-commerce sellers and export buyers work with us because the answer is always the same: straight pricing, real inventory, paperwork that's right the first time.

Founder's Story

Raised In A Garage. Built For The Long Haul.

Mac Kowalski grew up in a two-car garage outside Detroit, where his father ran a one-bench machine shop. By the time he was twelve, Mac could tear down a lawn mower engine and put it back together well enough that it started — and, more importantly, that it started again the next week. That lesson stuck: quality is what happens after you walk away.

He spent a decade in industrial distribution, moving crates and counting SKUs, and watched the same pattern repeat: a good domestic product, a cheaper import, and a customer who learned the difference the hard way. The cheap stuff always sold first. It always failed first, too.

In a small rented bay, with one phone line and a single container of socket sets, Joybest Trade Limited was born. Mac's rule was written on a grease-pencil board above the bench: "Never sell a part we wouldn't bolt onto our own job." That board is still in the office today.

"I don't want to be the cheapest crate on the dock. I want to be the one that's still working when the job's done."

Today Joybest stocks four complete lines out of Diamond Bar, California, and Mac still opens the dock door himself most mornings — because the day a founder stops checking the product is the day the product stops being worth checking.

Milestones

How We Got Here

The First Crate

One Container, One Rule

Joybest Trade Limited opens a single leased bay in Diamond Bar with one container of hand tools and a handwritten quality rule above the bench.

Line Two

Power Tools & Building Accessories

The catalog grows to include brushless power tools and galvanized framing hardware — still inspected piece-by-piece on arrival.

Line Three

Security Hardware & Compliance-First Shipping

Grade-1 locks and security hardware join the line, and every order ships with customs-ready documentation: COO, SDS and declarations.

Today

A Full-Line U.S. Distributor

Four complete product families, thousands of SKUs in stock, nationwide delivery and export support — from the same Diamond Bar warehouse, same rule.

What We Stand On

Four Values, Zero Compromise

Safety First

Every product is reviewed against the standards that keep crews safe on the job — before it earns a spot in our catalog.

Integrity

Straight specs, honest lead times and documentation that says exactly what's in the box. No surprises at the dock.

Precision

Tolerances, coating weights and torque ratings are checked against spec — because "close enough" fails in the field.

Grit

We do the unglamorous work — checking boxes, verifying paperwork, answering the phone — so our customers don't have to.

Work With A Partner, Not A PO Number

Call, email or send a quote request. A real person in our Diamond Bar warehouse will pick it up — usually the same day.
